My newest project

I haven't been knitting much lately, but recently while watching tv I did make this dishcloth. I really need to work on a few more as mine need replacing after many years of use.

Update on shawl

Here is an updated picture of the shawl. It doesn't look much bigger but it is getting quite wide now.

This is the beginning of my shawl. I am so excited to see the end product but it is gonna take awhile.

Yarn Picture as promised

Yarn for my new project

Some have emailed asking for pictures of the yarn I am using for hubby's jacket. I will post pictures as soon as the second color arrives. The local yarn shop has ordered it, but I checked yesterday and it is not in yet. Hopefully it will arrive soon cause I am almost at the point on the back where I will need it!

My new project!

This is the project I am working on now. It is a man's jacket for my hubby. I will take a picture of the yarn that I am using later and post here.

The shrug

Well I am up to about 32 inches on the shrug now, so in about another 20 inches I will start decreasing!

Finished the hat !!

Here is the finished hat that I double knit for son. Will I do this again? No lol. But I did learn how to do it if I ever find the need for one again lol.

He likes it and will be nice and warm under it this winter and that is what matters.

My first!

This is going to be my first attempt at designing anything other then a dishcloth lol.

So here is the yarn choices. The yellow is a cotton ribbon from italy. I have 12 balls of it that a friend gave me a really long time ago. It is my favorite color, but way to bright to use just that. So today I went to Hobby Lobby and found this Haute Fur yarn to put with it. I am swatching it right now. The idea is to just make a big rectangle and then sew up the cuffs.

I will post what I decide to do as I make the decisions so that I will know what to do on the other side if I decide to increase, etc.
